Tyrone “Ty” Anthony Howard is a former NCAA Division I athlete, MBA Program Professor, chief information officer, and serial entrepreneur. He founded BizNova Consulting, LLC in 2007 to provide project management training and consulting and is the Co-Founder and President of an internet start-up Ghostrade.com. Mr. Howard has merged his various experiences to mentor, coach, motivate and engage learners, while working with clients to enhance their own personal brand of success. He provides both “theory” and “real world” application in his training and consulting engagements. Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP), with Masters in Instructional Technology—He has a proven track record as a strategic partner at the business table, has consulted across several industries and has successfully identified gaps and provided custom management and training solutions for organizations. Ty has been recognized by international professional organizations in technology and project management as a change agent and a “Leader to Watch.” Organizational bodies include: CIO Magazine, Computer World Magazine and the Project Management Institute International. Mr. Howard has amassed a working knowledge of industry best practices; acquired close to two decades of experience in managing projects; developed strong interpersonal and communication skills, and has experience in leading organizations successfully through change. Tracée Howard is the Co-Founder and Vice President for Biz Nova Consulting LLC, founded in 2007 and is the Co-Founder and VP of Projects for an internet start-up Ghostrade.com. She has strong knowledge and experience of operations and consulting services. She searches and responds to RFP’s, is the contract developer, writes and submits patents and trademark development. She is instrumental is developing the company sales model as well as design of the business collateral and company online business portal. Her experience in trade show and event planning has provided BizNova the opportunity to reach out to the surrounding IT communities and helps to broker business relations. Mrs. Howard works closely with all vendors, strategic partners and is responsible for enhancing the internal organizational processes and infrastructure that has allowed Biz-Nova to achieve its goals. She oversees the financial forecasting and payroll for the company. Additionally, she is in close contact with the advisory team, consultants and project managers on various levels, reaches out to the Angel and Venture Capital investors and entrepreneurial community’s. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Michael Patterson brings over twenty years’ experience working for various financial institutions to the BizNova team as a consultant, starting his career right out of high school as a teller. His career brought him to training in April 2000, and is currently the AVP of Training & Development for TruMark Financial Credit Union, a 300 employee credit union headquartered in southeastern Pennsylvania. Michael facilitates workshops on diverse topics such as leadership, employee retention, coaching, diversity, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. He frequently visits high schools to discuss interviewing techniques and business ethics. Michael is the author of Promotions Are Not Served at the Deli Counter (CreateSpace: May 2010), a straight-forward but light-hearted guide on how to succeed and be promotable in work. He has been published in cumanagement.org. Michael is a member of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), and graduate of the Judge Bradley Credit Union Institute. When not training, Michael is a registered Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) wrestling referee. He is an active volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Bucks County PA. Matthew Brada is a Senior Consultant in the Defense and Government Services aerospace sector at Lewis & Fowler. Matthew focuses on Program Planning and Controls and Program Management assisting clients in process and delivery improvement and government compliance. He brings over 12 years of IT program, project management and technical experience to the BizNova team as a consultant. As the Lewis & Fowler program lead with our Aerospace & Defense clientele, Matthew is currently leading a specialized project team in Arizona supporting the space program where his team drives the timely completion of client deliverables to ensure contractual compliancy for a program worth over $500 Million. His background in the commercial ERP sector has given him the ability to improve and streamline the processes that are critically important for project delivery, such as scheduling, change management, resource management, supply chain management, and thorough technical review cycles. Matthew’s ability to communicate at all levels of the organization makes him a frequent contributing member to the client’s executive team. With previous experience as a commercial software and hardware project manager, Matthew has led cross continental project teams in a variety of industries including data warehousing for the healthcare industry and ERP implementations in the publishing and food and beverage industries. As an experienced SCRUM leader, he combines his technical background with his project leadership skills to produce highly functional teams capable of both broad band and tiger approaches. His management and leadership style protects his customer’s financial investments and produces tangible deliverables, providing his clients invaluable results. Matthew is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and earned his BS in Aeronautical Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Prescott, AZ. He is completing his Masters of Science degree at Carnegie Mellon University in software management with an emphasis in Contextual Design Software Engineering. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Al Lepore brings more than 12 years of project and program management experience to the BizNova team. He is an accomplished senior program manager at General Dynamics, managing space electronics and satellite programs, whose clients included NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Al applies a strong sense of expertise and results with an expansive knowledge of cost and scheduling systems. He has been responsible for budgets ranging from $5 to $200 million. His experience can be your experience – giving you a well rounded knowledge in all aspects of financial forecasting, resource allocation, and cost and schedule control. With a people oriented management style, Al brings all of his skill and know-how to improving overall morale and confidence to project and program management. Al is a holder of two patents and several managerial awards, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bloomsburg University and Masters in Program Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Victor Micallef joined Business Nova Consulting, LLC as VP of Sales and Business (Southwest Region) Development in 2010. He is published in PMI Today and is an active member of the Phoenix Chapter of PMI. Additionally, Mr. Micallef has worked as the Vice President of Business Development for an online technology start-up where he managed various project related engagements and provided technology asset solutions for clients nationally. Victor has a unique mixture of field, technical, and management experience. Mr. Micallef has an AAS in Construction Management from Washtenaw Community College and has had over 10 years experience in construction management and other construction related certifications. Clientele included Wyandotte Waste Water Treatment Plant, Bosh Engineering, and Parkdale Pharmaceuticals in Detroit from 1990-2005. Upon leaving Detroit, Victor came to Arizona to pursue his BS in Technical Management and pursue his PMP certification. Utilizing the skills and knowledge received as a project manager in the construction field with union labor, Victor began to transfer his skills to IT project management working for the Arizona Department of Water Resources. Crossing the unique barrier from construction project management to IT project management created a unique outlook on project management. Today, Victor is currently the webmaster for the Phoenix Chapter of PMI, and also served as the Marketing and Communications co-chair for the 2010 Symposium Event as well as the Region 7 Leadership Summit. Victor will also be working with the 2011 Symposium Marketing and Communications Team. From working in the construction trades, to construction management, project management in marketing and development, he has a unique experience that has allowed him to view projects from many different angles.
